This article is a point for reflection, not an accusation. It carries no intention to hurt anyone’s sentiments. I am only raising questions. Please forgive me if I am mistaken.
A four-thousand-year-old tension between two communities—Muslims and Jews—traced back to the two sons of Abraham, a central figure in the Bible, continues to play out in the world today. It contributes to immense human suffering and shows signs of escalating toward a global conflict—an Armageddon-like scenario, potentially leading to a third world war and even self-destruction.
The Bible states that the Jewish people are chosen by God and that they were scattered when they became disobedient. Yet it also carries a promise of their restoration.
During the Second World War, the Nazi regime led by Adolf Hitler displayed one of the most inhuman and demonic expressions of hatred in history, killing approximately six million Jews.
The second world war saw the development and use of nuclear weapons. Its devastating aftermath led to stirring of human consciousness and the formation of a global body, the United Nations. Under UN’s 1947 approval to partition British-mandated Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states, the modern state of Israel was established on May 14, 1948.
With the withdrawal of the British, Israel secured its existence—eventually expanding beyond the proposed UN borders—with significant support from Western nations, especially the United States. This process, however, led to the large-scale displacement of Palestinians, remembered as the Nakba.
Memories, pain, and identity often flow through generations. In that sense, one can understand the depth of conflict between Jews and Muslims. However, I struggle to understand certain aspects:
1. The role of Christian nations in supporting ongoing conflict.
Jesus Christ did not call for violence. He stopped His disciple Peter from using the sword, teaching that those who take the sword will perish by it. The Bible speaks of humanity being held captive by evil [Satan]. It tells us that Christ’s sacrifice is a victory over Satan – The Word “TETELESTAI – It is finished” speaks for it. Yet humanity seems to continue under its influence, instead of living in the freedom He revealed. His call was toward a new life—transformed, not violent.
2. The narrative that defines one group as exclusively “God’s people” and a land as inherently holy.
It is true that Jesus was born within the Jewish tradition and in the land of Jerusalem. Yet even at His birth, wise men from the East followed a star to honour Him—suggesting that the longing for truth and salvation was universal, not confined to one sect or place or place.
If we reflect deeply on the Gospels, we see that Jesus most strongly challenged the religious authorities of His time. Though He served, healed, and uplifted people, He was ultimately executed by a combination of religious and political power seeking to preserve control over people.
He also moved beyond His birthplace in His ministry, indicating that truth is not confined to geography.
This raises a question: how do we reconcile the idea of a “holy land” with ongoing violence, especially against innocent lives?
As I understand it, when God created the world, He called it good. So where did evil arise?
My understanding, by grace, is that what we call the ‘demonic’ exists within all human beings. It manifests when an individual becomes disconnected from divine Consciousness and Intelligence, giving rise to the ego.
In my understanding of the Bible, the life and sacrifice of Jesus Christ represent the restoration of all humanity—and indeed all creation—to its original state, not only the Jewish people. This restoration, however, involves certain conditions: repentance, water baptism, and Spirit baptism.
Water baptism signifies the cleansing of teachings and conditioning that have been instilled in our minds by older religious and socio-political systems. Spirit baptism represents a deeper transformation—from the mind–body realm to the inner realm of the heart, where Consciousness and Intelligence operate in connection with an inner spiritual space.
Science also points toward unity at the origin of existence. Max Planck suggested that consciousness is fundamental to matter. Erwin Schrödinger spoke of the unity of mind, and Albert Einstein expressed a desire to understand the mind of God, seeing everything else as detail. These insights invite us to reflect deeply on our own thinking in relation to a greater, universal intelligence.
Both scripture and science suggest that there is a deeper spiritual foundation underlying the material world we perceive.
Scripture says God is Spirit—omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient.
Then how has the modern man remained bound to limited narratives of division?
Perhaps it is time to understand Christ and His teachings through the Spirit—beyond the boundaries of institutional religion.
I speak personally: I was once an atheist and a scientist. Forty years back I gave up lucrative career in science in search of truth. In that search, I encountered the Spirit of Christ. That encounter transformed my life and revealed a deeper purpose. Today, I recognize Jesus Christ not only as divine, but as the central principle—the living pivot—of a self-organizing universe.
Humanity is approaching a new cycle—a new age. A GOLDEN AGE will emerge when we understand Christ beyond religion and align Him with the deepest truths of existence. We need to visualize Christ as the Singularity Point or Big Bang point.
Knowing Jesus as Science beyond religion as the Pivot of the self-organizing universe, will lead all to accept Jesus Christ as God, including the Jews. This is critical for peace in the middle east and the whole world.
Peace cannot come through war. Only transformation of consciousness can bring lasting peace to the world.
