Some key failures of the Western mindset that now govern humanity and lead the world toward war and self-destruction
1. The material, predictable-universe assumption
Western thought largely assumes the universe is purely material and predictable. This assumption persists even though science has long recognized the existence of energetic, non-material phenomena — fields and processes that are not strictly predictable. Science often accepts that an energetic or “spiritual” dimension underlies phenomena, yet it rarely explains how this field manifests atoms, matter, and the astonishing creativity of life.
2. Religious hypocrisy feeding scientific error
The root of scientific assumptions lies in the hypocrisy of Western religious institutions: institutions that speak of a great soul, that became a sacrifice and who’s spirit is present and working to awaken Humans on Earth. However, these people frequently end up enslaving humanity and amassing wealth and power. That trait has spread globally, producing societies in which cheating, looting, and killing occur for money, land, and political control. The result is a world disconnected from its deeper consciousness, intelligence, and life force.
A brief explanation to help comprehend the truth
Religion and culture have value: they preserve social memory and offer resistance to chaos. But by themselves, they are not inherently creative or restorative. Religions grew around great souls who appeared from time to time to point humanity toward life, truth, and justice. Religious institutions are respected and powerful; they are meant to hold and protect wisdom and the light of life.
When leaders in these institutions lose connection with the inner God-field — when they become hypocritical, self-centered, and driven by worldly rulers — the whole system deteriorates.
Knowledge, wisdom, and life existed from the beginning. When humanity as a whole loses memory of its connection to the conscious, intelligent field (the God-field) and its oneness with the Creator, darkness spreads. Many gods, sects, and cultures proliferate; evil minds rise and take control; suffering deepens. The prayer of every good intellectual soul is for a guiding soul who can lead the world from darkness to light — from death to life, from ignorance to knowledge.
All power comes from God — therefore, power can be perverted toward darkness, too. Only God can restore the world and His children to their original state. This is the fundamental truth found in ancient spiritual scriptures and at the heart of Jesus’ message and Calvary’s meaning.
With Christ’s death, a new time and a new world were conceived within the old. God’s consciousness and intelligence began to unfold as a new template for creation, giving free will to every soul. Christ’s central call is to transform and translate humanity into that new world. This field is growing quietly within the old and will eventually break the seals and emerge. All human development, including scientific advances, unfolds within God’s awareness, which gives us hope of awakening to truth and breaking free from the bondage of hypocritical institutions.
Science: its strengths and its shortcomings
Science has done great good. Yet Western science erred at crucial turning points in its history by neglecting life’s role in the cosmos. Newtonian physics implied a hidden center around which things move, but this center was not explored. Einstein’s introduction of the fourth dimension (time) made searching for that center inevitable. Still, mainstream physics remained reluctant to accept life, spirit, consciousness, and intelligence as legitimate elements of physical theory. Even so, many physicists intuited an underlying force or field sustaining the physical world — a notion now reflected in searches for fundamental fields and particles.
Great thinkers have urged reflection on the mind and the supreme mind. This line of thought calls us to inspect our models of force, motion, and field.
Rethinking force and motion
A crucial failure of modern physics, I believe, is its simplistic perception of force and motion. Newtonian mechanics treats force as acting in straight lines; Einstein described force as curvature. The third law tells us that every action has an equal and opposite reaction; common sense suggests that forces act within and displace a field. Over time, physicists abandoned certain field-centric intuitions, and narratives hardened.
To move science forward, we need new metaphors for force — for example, visualizing force as a spiral rather than linear. A spiral force cannot advance without displacing the field it pierces behind it. If we imagine time-force winding toward a singularity, we must also imagine a complementary field flowing outward from the center. Today we appear to be in an exponentially expanding phase, which threatens to tear the universe — unless a balancing principle intervenes.
I perceive that a great collapse toward singularity was averted at Calvary. The Spirit of God acts to break down the destructive and ruptured patterns of the old. This is the hope I carry as one born anew in Christ and committed to my calling. The Second Coming — properly understood — is the revelation of truth and the emerging light.
A final plea
At this critical juncture in history, as East and West polarize and nations prepare for a great war with weapons of mass destruction, humanity must awaken if it hopes to survive. We must change our mindset — from material to life-centered. If we do, we may enter a Golden Age, an age of truth and justice. But that awakening may come only after much destruction, pain, and suffering. We are now experiencing the birth pangs of truth.
